OUR DONORS MAKE ALL OF THIS POSSIBLE
We can't do all of this without help. I mean, we could, but I don't think any of us have pockets that deep.
Our Donors feed us the cards that we can send to the kids. If you take a look above, you can see some of the cards that have been donated to help support the club. Any card worth grading or reselling will be pulled, graded (our cost out-of-pocket) and sold. Any and all proceeds from a sale will go back into the club to help purchase supplies (mylar bags, penny sleeves, team bags, pack labels, ink, top loaders, boxes) and pay for postage. All the rest are hand sorted, packaged, and sent to the kids!
A big THANK YOU to everyone who is helping out!
PS: We won't be sending the Billy Ripken FF card to the kids. Promise.
KEITH
Keith was the next one up with over 5,000 Pokemon cards (and not just commons!). Admittedly none of us are really good Pokemon players but we are going to get to sorting and pull out some bangers for our packs. Thanks Keith for the supply of Pokemon cards!
BEAU
That's Beau on the right. When we told him what we were up to he jumped at the chance to help. He donated over 20,000 baseball cards to our cause (it has taken about 30 hours to go through them all). This has been an amazing addition to our Club. Thank you Beau!
JEFF
Not only did Jeff show up with one box, but we got and extra one as a bonus! It was great to run in to Jeff and have him be part of the club. We hope he keeps in touch after his move to the Mid-West!
